Mr. C.P. Sharma is a distinguished figure in India's textile export industry, with over three decadeAs of experience in promoting handloom and handicraft products on the global stage. As the Founder and President of the Handloom Handicraft Exporters Welfare Association (HHEWA), he has been instrumental in advocating for the interests of artisans and exporters, working closely with the Government of India to shape policies that enhance the sector's growth.
In his capacity as a Member of the Committee of Administration (CoA) at the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), Mr. Sharma has contributed to strategic decisions affecting the handicrafts export landscape. Currently, he serves as a CoA Member of the Powerloom Development & Export Promotion Council of India (PDEXCIL), where he continues to influence policy and support initiatives aimed at modernizing the powerloom sector.
Beyond his policy roles, Mr. Sharma is the driving force behind Garud Fabs LLP, a reputable export house specializing in home furnishings and lifestyle products. His leadership has not only expanded India's footprint in international markets but also fostered sustainable practices and community development.
A passionate advocate for artisan welfare, Mr. Sharma has spearheaded training programs empowering women and marginalized communities, aligning with national initiatives like "Apna Desh, Apna Bunkar, Apna Handloom." His efforts have been pivotal in reviving traditional crafts and enhancing the livelihoods of countless artisans across the country.
Sidharth Sharma – Partner, Garud Fabs LLP
A dynamic professional with a passion for home décor, Sidharth brings international exposure and modern business acumen to Garud Fabs. Educated at the University of London and Symbiosis International University, he has worked closely with some of the world's leading retailers, bridging the gap between traditional Indian craftsmanship and contemporary global markets.
Pallavi Sharma – Head of Design & Founder, Garud Wear
Combining financial expertise as a qualified Cost Accountant with a keen eye for design, Pallavi leads the creative direction at Garud Fabs. She spearheads our home category designs and oversees the apparel and handmade jewellery segments through Garud Wear. Her leadership ensures that our products resonate with both aesthetic appeal and market relevance.
